Retired history professor, James Hunter, to give a talk at Elgin Library

James Hunter, retired professor of History at the University of Highlands and Islands, is to give a talk at Elgin Library next month.

Author of 11 books about the Highlands and Islands, James will talk on Tuesday 10 December at 7pm about a fascinating period of Scottish history, when Scotland’s 1846 potato crop was wiped out, and his latest publication, Insurrection. Tickets are £5 and can be purchased online (https://secure.moray.gov.uk/eshop/home.php) or via Elgin Library.

Yeadons will be selling copies of the book on the evening.
