Press release -

Even Small Companies can now get an iPhone app for their business – Just £45 per month rental!

mVenture are the first company in the UK to enable businesses to build their iPhone app online without the need for technical support.  If you can use word then you can build an iPhone app.

What makes this really remarkable is that the whole system has been built by just two entrepreneurs from Norfolk – not known for being at the heart of something so ground breaking.

Most iPhone apps cost businesses between 3k and 10k to build – making apps something just for the big boys.  With mVenture you can now build an iPhone app which includes all the trimmings such as a product catalogue, job board, news module, events platform and of course all the other goodies such as twitter, YouTube and facebook integration. What is really different is the cost.  The service is set up a bit like a mobile phone contract. Customers pay just £45 per month to build their app online and after their app is launched, use the same system to update news, jobs, products etc. Customers are on a 12 month contract.

Customers with large amounts of data, i.e thousands of products or jobs can pay a little extra to integrate their existing database into the system.  What this means is that for businesses thinking of getting an iPhone app, that the customised section of their app will be a fraction of the cost compared to building a iPhone app from scratch.

“We have been using a scaled down version of the system for over 12 months, however in August we went live with the full version and we are getting a lot of interest. In just 4 weeks we have launched 4 apps and have 10 other companies building their apps online right now.” Said James Scott, Marketing Director

There are a few other companies offering mobile website style iPhone apps, however the problem with this is that they really are not ‘proper apps’ just a scaled down miniature website.  App users want real apps and businesses want to launch real apps if the cost is right. mVenture makes this happen.

The next stage of the development is to make it cross platform. Because customers are entering data online and that data is being streamed to the iPhone app, the result is that the same data can be streamed to a specific Blackberry or Android app.  mVenture are aiming to have a cross platform solution available by late autumn.
