New beauty innovations at Natural & Organic Products Europe 2017

Fermented coconut juice masks, plant-based nail varnishes, hemp husk exfoliators, and DIY botanical cleansing kits – are just some of the new beauty innovations on display at next month’s Natural & Organic Products Europe.

The biggest trade show for natural and organic beauty returns to London ExCeL on 2-3 April. The following is just a taste of what’s new this year:

Trilogy (stand B13) is launching Trilogy Rosehip Oil Light Blend, a certified organic seed oil blend, designed specifically for oily/combination skin. It helps to regulate the skin’s oil production, improve skin tone, wrinkles and protect against environmental damage in humid weather (New Zealand).

Storksak Organics (stand C12) is previewing its new gift range for babies, featuring soft cotton and bamboo muslins, swaddle blankets, hooded towels and more. The range also includes a new 100% certified organic cotton nursing shawl, which can be worn multiple ways and is as luxurious as it is versatile (UK).

Natural Senses (stand C15) is introducing its certified organic sugar scrub. It is designed to gently remove dead skin cells that can clog the skin pores, and is enriched with lemongrass to help prevent body odour and bacteria, whilst revitalising and tightening the skin (Thailand).

Gala cosmetics (stand B50-A, NATRUE pavilion) is unveiling Bio Happy Elegance, a new range of Eau de Toilette (100ml) and Eau de Parfum (15ml), made with alcohol denatured with lavender. Variants include: White Velvet, made with white rose and Tiaré flower, coconut, and vanilla; Spicy Impact, made with cedar wood tones and nutmeg; and Golden Dream, made with vanilla and ylang ylang (Italy).

Kinetic – Body Care (stand E21) is unveiling Antipodes Healthy Lipsticks, made with edible, natural ingredients, and nutrient-rich plant oils. Also launching: Alba Botanica’s range of four Fast Fix Sheet Masks in Anti-Pollution Volcanic Clay Detox, Camu Camu Anti-Wrinkle, Papaya Anti Acne, and Coconut Water Hydrate. Pacifica Micellar Waters are also launching at the show. The Micellar waters helps capture and lift away dirt, oil, impurities and makeup without harsh rubbing or even rinsing. Available in: Coconut Water for stressed skin; Cactus Water for all skins; Kale Water – infused with glycolic acid for skin brightening, for oily and blemish prone skin (UK).

Eterno Naturals (stand D13) is launching a host of new brands and range line extensions including: sensitive skin solutions from Attitude; Bellapierre’s new Kiss Proof Lip Crèmes; and Konjac Sponge Company’s new Rainforest Collection. Also showcasing: Divaderme’s Brow Extender II; Bellamianta’s natural tanning solution; Divaderme’s new mascara Diva FX II; Miqura’s new face mask made out of 100% fermented coconut juice; and Noah’s haircare and kids haircare range (UK).

Naturela (stand D16) is launching its Dalan D’olive range at the show. Currently a best seller in Germany, the olive oil cosmetics range includes liquid soap (400ml), colour protection shampoo (400ml), hand and body cream (50ml), colour protection conditioner (200ml), and body oil (250 ml). All are paraben, silicone, SLES, and peg free. Also showcasing: handmade soaps made from 100% olive oil (UK).

The Natural Beauty Pot (stand L75) is unveiling its Beauty Balm, designed to moisturise the skin, soothe lips, hydrate hands, and tame eyebrows. This multi-purpose product comes in a new frosted glass jar packaging with a rustic wooden lid. Also showcasing: best-selling Rose Bath Salts (UK).

Amarya (stand D31) is launching Walden Natural Perfumes (50ml). Made from 100% natural absolutes, resins and essential oils, Walden Perfumes are named after Henry David Thoreau’s seminal work Walden. The brand is launching with five scents, all named after snippets from Walden: A Little Star-Dust; A Different Drummer; Castles in the Air; The Solid Earth; and Two Eternities (UK).

Alma Briosa (stand D45) is launching WonderButter, a NATRUE certified organic regenerating face butter, used to nourish skin day and night, and gently cleanse dry skin from makeup. It can be used as an intensive nourishing mask, and contains grapeseed oil, sacha inchi oil, mango butter, red vine leaf extract, and vine fruit extract – known to have antioxidant power (Italy).

Optiat (stand A40) is unveiling its new cosmetics made using organic Hemp husks – the natural by-product from the process of manufacturing hemp seeds. The range consist of two exfoliating face masks, one for sensitive skin and the other for oily skin. Ingredients include bentonite and kaolin clay, chlorella, activated charcoal, marshmallow root and Himalayan salt (amongst others). Also showcasing: exfoliating coffee scrubs made from used Arabica coffee grounds, sourced from London’s best bars, cafés and restaurants (UK).

Tropika (stand L71) is launching Tropika Little Spa, Mums Spa and Skin blends. Made with premium virgin coconut oil and botanical extracts, the oil is sustainably produced and blends are inspired by traditional Malay rituals. The result is three collections for Mums (and Mums-to-be), children and personal skincare (Malaysia).

Phergal Laboratorios (stand D12) is introducing e’lifexir Natural Beauty, a complete body treatment range created from natural and organic plant and fruit extracts. Formulated to target each part of the body, the extracts protect and rejuvenate, resulting in softer, smoother skin. The fruit extracts, compatible with skin cells, are designed to penetrate, hydrate and energise the cells for glowing natural skin (Spain).

Jack N’ Jill Natural Care (stand B33) is launching its natural toothpastes and toothbrushes from the Natural Family Company range. All four toothpastes, including Original, Whitening, Sensitive and Propolis & Myrhh, feature Australian Native Rivermint in a gel Formula, free from fluoride, and made in Australia. Its new toothbrushes come in four stylish colours with resin holders (Australia).

Amina’s Natural Skincare (stand D6) is a Jordanian company that is launching its international expansion. Founded by a mother wanting to safeguard and maintain her family’s health, Amina provides a complete range of organic certified skincare products for cleansing, moisturising and soothing all types of skin. Products include: Calendula Shower Oil, Olive Oil Shower Wash, Castor Oil Face Oil, and Moisturising Soap – face and body cleanser (Jordan).

Urtekram A/S (stand B21) is showcasing a Nordic berries haircare and skincare range. Made with sea buckthorn, blueberry, cranberry, rosehip, and hyaluronic acid, its vitamins and antioxidants provide the hair with nourishment and moisture. Added willow bark extract helps support the balance of the scalp and enhances the effect of the other plant ingredients (Denmark).

ECOCARE’s (stand B8) latest addition includes Organic Cotton Baby Wipes, with a natural scent of vanilla. This premium hand-crafted cleanser is naturally rich in antioxidants and moisture to keep baby skin healthy. It’s biodegradable, palm oil free, certified and cruelty free (UK).

Beauty without cruelty (stand D21) is showcasing its 85% plant based nail colour range in 32 shades, inspired by the four natural elements: Earth (nudes and beiges), Air (pastel), Water (blues and greens) and Fire (reds and orange). Also showcasing: base coat, hardener, top coat, matte top coat, and 100% plant based gentle nail polish remover. All are cruelty free and Vegan certified (UK).

The Buddha Beauty Company (stand A52) is promoting Organic Cuticle Oil, its latest addition to the Vegan Salon range. Designed to keep nails healthy, the blend is made with myrrh, lavender, lemon, frankincense, and geranium essential oils to moisturise, encourage growth, strengthen and brighten nails (UK).

Of The Islands (stand A75) is showcasing its new Pure Strength Magnesium Massage Oils. Helping Spas to offer 100% natural magnesium treatments, it’s sustainably extracted in The Netherlands using just water. The magnesium oil (38% concentration magnesium chloride to water) helps with detoxification and vitality. The retail sizes are Magnesium Spray in 100ml bottle and 250g bath salt packets (The Netherlands).

La Brosserie Francaise (stand B60) is launching Bioseptyl oral care range at the show. The range includes recycled and recyclable toothbrushes for the whole family and oral care products, including toothpastes and mouthwash. Certified organic by Ecocert (France).

EverGoods Global Co (stand C3) is promoting its Naveen Hydrating Mask and Firming Mask. Both provide long-term moisturising and nourishing benefits, as well as revive the skin for an immediate, invigorated glow and photo-ready finish. Its Hydrating Mask is the first COSMOS-Organic certified sheet mask, which won the Best New Organic Silver Award at Pure Beauty Awards 2016 (Taiwan).

Daniel Galvin Jr. International (stand A41) is showcasing its new Highgrove Signature collection of luxury unisex skincare and gift products: including body wash, shower gel, body lotion, hand lotion, pre-shave cream, and room and body mists. The collection is inspired by the gardens at Highgrove House – the private residence of Their Royal Highnesses, The Prince of Wales and The Duchess of Cornwall. Products are certified by The Soil Association (UK).

Rio Trading’s (stand F52) new Rio Rosa Mosqueta Rosehip Discovery Set contains three best-selling 100% natural skincare products in handy mini sizes, including Pure Chilean Rosehip Seed Oil (5ml), Anti-Ageing Day & Night Cream (20ml), and Cream Cleanser (20ml). They are chemical and fragrance free and ideal for travel, as a trial or as a gift at any time of the year (UK).

EcoBeauty (stand C34) is exhibiting its Style White Home Teeth Whitening range. Products include a kit, gel refill, 2-in-1 brightening and freshening pen, and refreshing dental wipes. The whitening gel is made with plant enzymes and bicarbonate of soda. It contains aloe vera and chamomile, which helps to sooth gums, and the xylitol helps fight tooth decay. It also includes a coconut tooth detergent (UK).

KIKI Health’s (stand B61) Organic Alkaline Infusion is packed with minerals which have a ‘neutralising’ impact, helping to establish balance and enhance immunity. This cocktail of beauty and health-boosting powders supports the creation of the body’s building blocks (e.g collagen and elastin) to keep hair, skin, and nails strong (UK).

YES the organic intimacy company (stand C4) is exhibiting YES VM, a pH balanced iso-tonic gel, with no fragrances, or residue, which is designed to alleviate irritation, itching and burning whilst moisturising and soothing dry and sensitive vaginal tissues. Gynaecologist recommended, it is a hypoallergenic and certified organic alternative to Replens (UK).

SKN-RG England (stand A3) is promoting its Advanced Skincare and Organics Skincare range. This next generation skincare merges organic and natural ingredients with clinically proven complexes – combined with Quanta wave technology. Recently winning Silver in Best Certified Organic Range for 2017 – Highly Commended, the advanced range includes new 100ml Organic Flash Balm Eye and Makeup Flash Cleanser (UK).

Terre Verdi (stand A5) is promoting NeroliPom Moisturiser. Designed for dry or mature skin, with antioxidant pomegranate, neroli, and aloe vera to help alleviate sensitive and problem skin. 100% vegan, 84% certified organic, and cruelty free, it is made with natural preservatives, and stored in a glass pump bottle to maintain its properties (UK).

Organically Epic (stand D33) is showcasing Karithic’s recently launched Shea based skincare range, which is certified organic, natural, vegan, and made with unrefined shea. Also showcasing: Barr Sweden’s Secret Forest Face Oil, containing high levels of vitamins and anti-oxidants, with anti-aging effects to give nourishment and balance to the skin (UK).

Westlab Mineral Salts (stand L61) is showcasing its new Westlab Supersalt range, which offers pure minerals with an extra boost. Westlab has blended their signature mineral-rich premium salts with carefully selected botanical actives, such as arnica, seaweed and colloidal oatmeal, to cleanse, revive and nourish (UK).

ZAO Essence Of Nature (stand B56) is promoting its Zao Shine-Up Powder, a 2-in-1 powder that also acts as a highlighter, adding luminosity to skin with its light-capturing formula. It is paraben free, vegan, gluten free, cruelty free and refillable (UK).

Gentle Beauty (stand A48) is promoting Herbatint’s Organic Hair Repair Shampoo and Conditioner, the first hair products based on the benefits of moringa. Moringa, with its abundant vitamins, minerals and amino acids, encourages the production of keratin, used for repairing dry, damaged and colour treated hair (UK).

MMTUM inc. (stand C52) is showcasing its Do-it-Yourself Organic Face Cleansing kit. The kit contains a selection of plant-based oils, essential oils, powdered clays and dried flowers to create three cleansing oils, three facial scrubs, and three deep-cleansing masks (Canada).

Nathalie Bond Organics (stand A11) is promoting its new Lemongrass Body Scrub, which contains dead sea salt, coconut oil, jojoba oil, and lemongrass essential oil to help brighten up the skin. The range is handmade in small batches using 100% pure botanical ingredients, and is Vegan friendly. Also showcasing: Lemongrass Liquid Soap, and Rose Geranium & Patchouli Body Oil (UK).

What Skin Needs (stand B23) is showcasing its hydrating facial serum. Containing a blend of vitamins and plant extracts to create a light, non-greasy formula, it is an easily absorbed serum, with hydrating and skin cell renewal properties (UK).

KalFar Health (stand B72) is exhibiting its newly launched Hairtality hair vitamins, which have been carefully formulated to re-nourish damaged and neglected hair. Hairtality contains biotin, zinc, selenium and copper, combined with luxurious black seed oil, which work in synergy to contribute to the maintenance of healthy hair (UK).

Graceful Naturals (stand C30) has a new range of hair colouring products available in 18 shades, that will cover grey hair and help to bring back shine and luster. It’ made with extracts of organic Argan oil, organic linseed oil and Keratin, rich in omega 3 fatty acids, vitamins A and E (Switzerland).

Teen Skinactives (stand A34) is promoting its range of retail skincare that has been specially formulated and packaged for the ‘teenage market’. Created in the UK by leading skin care expert and aromatherapist Eve Taylor OBE, products include clearing spot wash, restoring mask, and clearing spot gel, balms and lotions (UK).

EcoLaboratoria (stand F45) is promoting its vitamin foaming shower oil made with shea butter and 95% natural ingredients. Its gentle texture provides delicate skin care and cleans the skin deeply with vitamins, leaving it soft and velvety (Russia).
