Men Are Last Minute Lovers

With just one day to go before Valentine’s Day, research from Nectar, based on Sainsbury’s shopper habits, shows that 45% of men typically haven’t bought their loved ones a special card or gift*. In contrast, the research indicated that women are much more prepared when it comes to showing their love, with three in four women (73%) likely to have already picked up their presents and cards.

If shoppers using their Nectar card in Sainsbury’s follow the same patterns as last year, this could mean that there are over 2.1 million Valentine’s cards and presents being sold in the next two days**.

Shoppers wanting their Valentine’s gifts and plans to be even more rewarding should visit nectar.com for ideas on how to collect and spend their Nectar points.
