About the ng Group

ng homes is the parent organisation within the ng group, which also includes ng2 Ltd and ng property (Scotland) Ltd (ngps). Each organisation has its own Board, responsible for:

• Strategic planning and direction
• Financial oversight and performance monitoring
• Ensuring legal and regulatory compliance

In addition, we also have Committees covering Audit, Risk and Compliance, and Finance, Performance and Resources, providing further opportunities to contribute your knowledge and insight.

This is an exciting time for the Association, and we are looking for committed individuals to help us deliver our vision of “a community where people can flourish and prosper.”

We are committed to ensuring that our Boards reflect the diversity of the communities we serve, creating stronger governance through a broad mix of backgrounds, knowledge and viewpoints. Whether you already have board‑level experience or want to develop new skills, this is a meaningful and rewarding way to get involved.

Support, Training and Development

All Board members receive a full induction programme, along with ongoing training and support throughout their term. These are voluntary roles; however, reasonable expenses can be reimbursed, and Board members have access to a wide range of learning and development opportunities.

How to Get Involved

1. Joining the ng homes Board

To become a Community Board member with ng homes, you must be a member and live within the Association’s local area.

https://nghomes.net/become-a-member/.

Complete and return the form along with a £1 membership fee. Applications are considered by the Board at its next meeting.

2. Opportunities with Our Subsidiary Boards

There are also opportunities to join the Boards of our subsidiary organisations:

• ng2 Ltd Board
  ng2 Ltd is a subsidiary and social enterprise of ng homes, delivering services directly to the community, including environmental and facilities management services.

• ng property (Scotland) Ltd Board (ngps)
  The ngps Board oversees factoring services for more than 1,200 owners across North Glasgow.
