Community spirit shines at the Springburn Community Street Festival

ng homes was delighted to take part once again, with staff welcoming visitors to our stall along the main walkway. The event provided a great opportunity to chat with tenants, residents and local people, while sharing information about our services and community initiatives.

Working alongside partners including Spirit of Springburn, the festival featured a wide range of free activities for all ages. In partnership with Glasgow Life, Springburn Sports Centre hosted sports and physical activity sessions including Learn to Ride, family multi-sports and introductory tennis, supported by Tennis Scotland.

Scottish Cycling also brought BMX bikes and ramps, giving local young people the chance to try something new. Younger children enjoyed meeting character mascots, as well as face painting and glitter art activities funded by ng homes.

The dry summer weather helped attract a fantastic turnout from across the area, creating a lively and welcoming atmosphere throughout the day.
