Get a Fair Start with People Plus
PeoplePlus deliver a service called Fair Start Scotland in Glasgow City council and Highlands & Islands of Scotland. It is a government-funded service which is free and voluntary to join where customers/clients or participants as we like to say, can receive up to 12 months of pre-work support and an additional 12 months of in-work support with a dedicated Key Worker who will work with them to get them job ready.
In addition to employment support, we have a fantastic trainer called David who delivers virtual sessions on how to prepare for an interview, confidence building, positive attitude towards work which are often fully booked.
The participant must be:
- Must have the Right to Work in the UK with a national insurance number and a valid form of ID.
- Unemployed
- Not a student at college or
- Must be residing in Glasgow City council area
