Niam Sells Logistics Property to NREP
Nordic Real Estate Partners (NREP) has recently acquired the property Loviseberg 1 in Tumba outside of Stockholm. The seller is Niam Fund III.
Loviseberg 1 is a 34,000 sq m modern distribution facility built in 2002. The main activity in the property is the distribution of everyday commodities, fruits and vegetables.
“During Niam’s hold period we have made the property more efficient according to the tenants’ needs and added some new tenants", says Johan Bergman Managing Director at the Swedish private equity firm Niam. “I am delighted to sell such a well adapted property to NREP.”
"This acquisition is highly appropriate in our property portfolio consisting of modern logistic properties. NREP are also highly positive about the tenants, which will add exposure towards the growing market of everyday commodities. The location, near highway E4 south of Stockholm, makes the property attractive both for local distribution in the Stockholm area as well as for regional distribution with a large flow of goods from southern Sweden and Europe", says Rickard Svensson, NREP.
