Newcastle United's Sustainability Manager approached academics at Northumbria with a challenge: to find a way of repurposing kit that could no longer be sold or used. It’s Blue Monday so here are some tips on how to look after your wellbeing as a student from James, our student and content creator.🙌 We know January can feel like a lot so we hope everyone is taking easy and looking after themselves.🫂 Some of James’s tips are: - reach out to friends, family or the university wellbeing team if you’re feeling overwhelmed - take frequent breaks to avoid burning out when studying - remember to have some fun, play a sport with friends or try a new hobby - try changing scenery when studying - be in nature with friends, it can be a great way for a mental health reset - treat yourself to your favourite foods Finally, Blue Monday is a good way to bring awareness but we know mental health is more than just a day so remember to be easy on yourself and talk to people, you’re not alone.
