Starting your uni application soon? Here’s some top application advice from Lois: 👉 Don’t procrastinate ⏰ 👉 Research the courses your uni offers 📚 👉 For your personal statement, answer these 3 key questions: 1. Why do you want to study this course? 2. How have your studies and qualifications prepared you? 3. What else have you done outside of education, and how is it useful? For applicants applying in the 2026 UCAS cycle, the deadline to guarantee your application is considered is 14 January 2026 at 6pm. Courses may close after this date so your application may not be considered if there are no places available. Once you have created your UCAS account, you can begin completing your application. 4. Proof read. Make sure you give your form a good read over! Check that the information is correct, everything is filled out and make sure to check your spelling and grammar. 5. Submit. The last step is to pay the required fee and submit your application!
