Motorcyclist killed in collision
A motorcyclist has died after a collision with a car.
The victim, a man aged in his twenties, was riding along Queen's Road, Beeston, at around 2.30pm yesterday (Thursday) when the incident occurred.
Emergency services were called to the scene near the junction with Hassocks Lane and the man was pronounced dead a short time later.
Detective Constable Emma Temple, of Nottinghamshire Police's serious collision investigation unit, said: "This was a tragic incident that led to a young man's death. Our thoughts today are with his family, friends, and all who knew him."
