Big boys at small prices – New World range cookers complete the Big Appliances roster
Big Appliances’ market analysts have obviously identified a gaping hole in the white goods market, which they’re aiming to fill by supplying giant cooking appliances from a single location. Usually, a person looking for appliances as big as New World range cookers (New World cookers, generally speaking, come in at 90 or 100cm wide) has to traipse all over everywhere, looking at one item in each location. Not good for compare and contrast. Big Appliances, with their stock of New World range cookers (and others) are condensing these “big boy” cookers into a single place – and, unless we’re very much mistaken, they’re going to make a killing out of it.
Consider, for a moment, the New World range cooker. Big Appliances offer two variants – the Classic 100DF and the 90GDO. Their first line of product information makes it clear that the numbers in the names of New World range cookers refers directly to their width. So, if you’re shopping for a slightly less wide large scale cooker, you know that the 100 is out. That’s the kind of information that can only be gleaned by the easy compare and contrast offered by a well laid out site like Big Appliances – and can’t be got at all if one shops on foot, where stores almost exclusively offer a single “big boy” option at best and no more.
New World range cookers occupy the lower end of the price spectrum on the Big Appliances site. Big Appliances have thought very carefully about what to include, and how to include it, at each price band – with the result that the New World range cooker is seen as a high-end domestic appliance, rather than a low-rent commercial one. Big Appliances know that no-one looking for a good, feature-rich home cooker is going to be interested in a heavy-duty behemoth like a Caple: what they want is something like a New World range cooker, which throws in a load of reliable bells and whistles in place of an ironclad, scratch and cleaner resistant finish. So the New World cookers are priced as low as possible in comparison to the more expensive commercial quality appliances, in order to make that distinction. It’s a pricing structure that works across the site, with much higher end commercial stuff being discounted into the realms of top-class commercial-domestic crossover; and low-end commercial stuff placed in direct comparison to high domestic-only lines like the New World cookers.
Big Appliances’ clever pricing structure allows top lines like Caple cookers to be included with highly capable domestic stuff like New World range cookers, without anything looking out of place. They’ve managed to store all their eggs in one basket – their appealing new online basket – and their selection of New World cookers is the last lay. Taken in conjunction with the rest of Big Appliances’ stock, that’s a mighty fine harvest.
