London, UK – 31st August 2010: BAMMA - the British Association of Mixed Martial Arts - has released an iPhone application which includes exclusive video footage of each fight, not available on the web.
BAMMA fans have much to be excited about, as the application is free to download, with free pictures, fight cards, video previews, blogs, Twitter feeds and more. Fight footage is available to purchase via iTunes billing for 59p per fight or £2.99 for unlimited access for 30 days.
The iPhone platform enables users to easily purchase great content for small amounts. Alex Reid will be fighting in BAMMA 4 on 25 September – and the fight will immediately be available to watch on the iPhone.
The application was developed by Orca Digital – a leading developer of iPhone and Android video-based applications. Will Neale, Orca Digital’s CEO, commented: "We’re thrilled to have worked with BAMMA on this application – and we’re looking into future options including broadcasting live fights to mobile on a pay-per-view basis."
