bmi to offer more frequent direct flights to Aberdeen

As of 3 February, bmi will have twice as many flights between Oslo Airport and Aberdeen.

The route was launched in October 2013, and already there is a demand for more frequent flights.

bmi  currently operates daily flights Sundays to Fridays, but as of 3 February, the company will operate two flights Mondays to Thursdays and one flight Fridays and Sundays.

“When we launched the route in October, we said we would increase the frequency if there was demand for it. We are now following up by increasing the number of flights in response to demand from our customers,” says Colin Lewis, director of marketing at bmi.

“We are very pleased that bmi  will offer more frequent flights to Aberdeen,” says Joachim Westher Andersen, media manager, Oslo Airport.

“We are happy that bmi ’s Aberdeen route has been so successful. It clearly indicates that there is a market for this route. It also provides travellers from Oslo Airport with more choice,” Andersen concludes.

The morning flight lands at Oslo Airport at 09.00 and returns to Aberdeen 09.30. The evening flight arrives at Oslo Airport at 18.45 and departs 19.15, arriving in Aberdeen at 20.00.
