Phoenix Contact Team Raises Over £4000 for SCARF

Every year Andy Neat, Customer & Technical Support Engineer, completes a challenge to raise money for the Skin Cancer Research Fund in memory of his father.  This year was no exception. 

This year’s challenge involved trekking up and down The Wrekin 36 times over a weekend, totalling more than the height of Everest.  The team of four, Andy Neat, Andy Mills, Rob Lockley and Mark Harries, started the Wrekin 36 Challenge at 8am on Friday and finally completed it on Sunday afternoon after 52 hours and 40 minutes raising more than £4000 for the charity.

Andy said “I lost my dad, Glenn, to skin cancer five years ago and every year since I have been doing something a little bit outrageous to raise money for SCARF”.
