Phoenix Contact employee raises over £2000 for Macmillan Cancer Support

After retiring from rugby, Clive Onions, Internal Sales Engineer, was looking for a new challenge. This challenge was Ironman UK!

The Ironman UK course covers the Lancashire countryside, finishing in Bolton town centre.  Athletes must complete a 2.4 mile swim, a 112 mile cycle ride and a 26.2 mile run. 

After many months of training, Clive completed the gruelling course in 15 hours, 18 minutes and 44 seconds, raising over £2000 for Macmillan Cancer Support.
