Heavycon industrial connectors for data centers
The new Heavycon Data Centre connectors from Phoenix Contact optimise power transmission from the PDU to the IT rack and provide robust power transmission of up to 70 A. The low contact resistance of the crimp contacts reduces energy consumption by up to 60 percent. Lower heat generation also reduces the need for cooling.
Operators rely on proven connection technology for power distribution from the PDU to the IT rack. The compact design of the Data Centre connectors enables space-saving cabling. In addition, the tool-free Click-in latching significantly reduces the installation time. With a rated current of 70 A and a rated voltage of 690 V, the Heavycon connectors are designed for demanding applications. The connectors have 4 + PE positions and support conductor cross-sections from 6 to 25 mm² (AWG 10 to AWG 4). The integrated cable gland in size M32 or M50 is available with or without strain relief and ensures a secure connection.
The Heavycon Data Centre connectors thus offer an energy-efficient and powerful solution for modern data centres.
