Comparing The Samsung Galaxy Note And Samsung Galaxy S3
The Samsung Galaxy Note and the Samsung Galaxy S3 are among the most impressive smartphones on the market and have contributed significantly to the popularity of the Korean manufacturer's smartphone range. In this article I will compare screens and cameras of these two devices.
Camera
The Samsung Galaxy Note and the Samsung Galaxy S3 share several camera features in common. They both have a camera resolution of 8 megapixels, which can also capture video footage a number of different resolution settings of up to 1080p, which is full high definition. Both cameras also share several image enhancing features such as autofocus, touch focus, face & smile detection, image stabilisation and LED flash. One of the main differences of these cameras is the fact that the Galaxy S3 boasts a couple of unique features not found in many other smartphones, on account of it being a much newer handset. These include the ability to simultaneously capture photos and videos, as well as a function which will capture a set number of consecutive photos after tapping the capture key just once, which is ideal for taking action shots where the subject is not available for long.
Touchscreen
The Samsung Galaxy S3 has one of the most advanced touch screens of any Samsung smartphone to date. At 4.8 inches it is rather sizable, and boasts a resolution of 720x 1280 which means it is able to display high definition content, making it the ideal multimedia device. It has Super AMOLED capacitive HD touchscreen technology, which is similar to that of Samsung's former predecessor the Galaxy S2. This is one of the most popular Android smartphones in the world, and its screen is widely regarded as being one of its key features. The screen of the Samsung Galaxy Note is considerably larger at 5.3 inches, making it one of the biggest smartphone screens on the market. This also has Super AMOLED capacitive touchscreen technology, and has a resolution of 800x 1280, which ensures high display quality despite the larger size of the screen. The Galaxy Note is also supplied with an S-Pen, a stylus pen which is optimised for this device and stores in a hole in the top of the handset when not in use. This greatly enhances the versatility of the handset, the works well in conjunction with the large screen.
The Samsung Galaxy S3 and the Galaxy Note are clearly impressive in terms of their screens and camera technology. While the Galaxy S3 has the edge on account of it being a much newer phone, the Galaxy Note is still and impressive device, even by today's standards.
