Possible September Launch For The HTC One Max
Plenty of impressive Android smartphones have been released so far this year, but the HTC One remains among the most highly regarded and most popular. This is of course thanks to its innovative spec list and stylish design, which has gained the phone an enviable reputation among both owners and critics.
Once again, the flagship model from the Taiwanese manufacturer has been hitting the headlines recently, due to be availability of an update to Android 4.2.2 Jellybean, and the release of the long awaited red version of the phone. In recent months, there have also been plenty of rumours about two new variants of the handset hitting the market later in 2013. These are the HTC One Mini, a smaller, lower spec but more affordable version of the phone, along with a phablet style offering called the HTC One Max.
HTC has not yet officially announced either of these
handsets, but there has been increasing speculation in recent weeks, along with
a number of leaked images and information regarding specifications of the HTC One
Mini. Official information about the HTC One Max however has been more elusive.
However, GSM Arena has recently reported that details regarding its
specifications have been revealed. Find out more about the HTC One Max on our website, where we also list cheap HTC One contracts.
Although this information is not official, it certainly backs up plenty of previous rumours about the device. The website reports that the device will sport a 6 inch 1080p display, 2.3 GHz Snapdragon 800 processor, 2 GB of RAM, 3200mAh battery capacity and 32/64 GB of internal storage. It is also likely that by device will sport a similar aluminium construction to the standard HTC One, which is by far one of its standout features and makes it among the most durable and stylish handsets currently on the market.
The website also reports that HTC is gearing up to release the HTC One Max in September. With a September launch of the Samsung Galaxy Note 3 also on the cards, it would certainly make sense if this was the case, as Samsung's upcoming phablet model is likely to be the biggest competitor to the HTC One Max.
We expect more information about the features and availability of the HTC One Max to be revealed as we approach its rumoured announcement, so we will be sure to report back with the latest details.
