The Excellent Siri Software On The iPhone 4S

There are a huge number of features that we love about the iPhone 4S. The glass design is still the most attractive on the market and the Retina display continues to offer some of the best image quality around. Voice recognition is nothing new on a mobile device. Over the years various manufacturers have implemented such services but none have proved very successful. Apple have a reputation for taking services that have not proved popular and making them great. Alternatively you can lift the phone to your ear to initiate the sequence. Siri varies from similar software as it designed to work with dozens of different areas and applications within the 4S. Users can do much more than search the web or speed dial a friend which is what many earlier voice services offered. E mails and text messages can be composed and sent without touching the screen and this is perfect for people who are on the move or driving a vehicle.

The sheer number of tasks that can be performed by Siri is what sets it apart from other similar software. Users can opt to play a song or playlist from the Music section of the phone or schedule a meeting in the calendar. Because the service is co developed by Apple it means that the whole operating system of the phone is geared up to interact with Siri which is why the functionality is so impressive. In terms of operation speeds the service is very fast. Most tasks are performed with two seconds of the user making the request which is thanks to the excellent dual core chipset used on the phone. The actual voice recognition is also very good. Even when speaking with a regional accent at a normal pace Siri still manages to accurately perform the task that is required. Obviously there are occasional times where the users input is not recognised but these instances are limited unlike other services we have tested where nearly 50 per cent of instructions encounter problems.

Siri is perhaps the most impressive element of the new iPhone 4S. The number of tasks that can be performed is superb and the software accurately recognises voices and performs at very fast speeds, two vital element that ensure this type of service will be popular with consumers.
