The HTC One X And Samsung Galaxy S3 - Key Features Compared

The HTC One X and the Samsung Galaxy S3 are among the most popular Smartphones on the market.  They have increased in popularity, and have become some of the main rivals to the Apple iPhone 4S.  In this article, I will compare that some of the key features of the HTC One X and Samsung Galaxy S3, so you can decide which one is better.

The Samsung Galaxy S3 is certainly one of the most impressive smartphones to date from the manufacturer, one of the most exciting handsets on the market.  One of its most impressive features is its screen.  This measures 4.8 inches and utilises Super AMOLED HD capacitive touchscreen technology and has a resolution of 720x 1280, meaning that high definition content can be displayed.  Another impressive feature of this device is its processor.  It has a 1.4 GHz quad-core processor which provides it with outstanding performance.  There was one of the first smartphones to utilises type of processor, and this makes it one of the most powerful smartphones available.  As a camera phone, the Samsung Galaxy S3 is one of the best on the market.  It has an 8 megapixel digital camera which comes with an LED flash, full high definition video capture and a whole host of image enhancing features.  The latest ice cream sandwich version of the popular Android operating system is utilised as the platform of choice, and this works in conjunction with Samsung TouchWiz user interface which offers benefits such as an alternative aesthetic appearance and additional customisation options to the stock Android interface.

The HTC One X is equally as impressive as the Samsung Galaxy S3, and is certainly the most advanced handset to date from the Taiwanese manufacturer.  It has a slightly smaller screen at 4.7 inches, although this has the same resolution, creating a slightly higher pixel density which is beneficial for display quality.  A quad-core processor is also utilised by this device, which is more powerful at 1.5 GHz, so outstanding performance is the order of the day with the HTC One X.  The camera feature of this device is similar to that of the Galaxy S3, sharing the same resolution and many other features in common.  The HTC One X utilises the Android ICS platform, however this runs in conjunction with the HTC Sense UI which offers similar benefits to TouchWiz.

Obviously there is much more to the HTC One X and Samsung Galaxy S3 than what I have covered above. It is easy to see why both these devices have become so popular and it is no wonder so many people are  choosing devices like these over the iPhone 4S.  However, the iPhone 5 is due to be released later this month, and will be interesting to see if the Apple will once again make it to the top of the smartphone market.
