Nokia X6 16GB White Released on O2 Deals

Just to confuse consumers a little more it seems some retailers are now referring to the newest phone to join the Nokia X6 range as the white edition, this is not strictly true and could lead to some confusion as although the phone is actually finished in white on it rear casing the front of this new X6 features blue accents on a mainly black face.

In its 32GB format this model is known as the Nokia X6 Blue, it is this exact same colour scheme in a 16GB format which is being referred to as the new white edition. The newer 16GB range of X6 phones may lack in a couple of areas in comparison to the original larger memory models but they keep the price of the handset down making them far more affordable for a whole new set of customers.

The 16GB Nokia X6 loses the 'Comes with Music' service and obviously features half the memory of the original models but this means that the handset can be purchased up to $200 cheaper which opens up a new band of customers. The Nokia X6 16GB is aimed to appeal to a young and fashionable market which is reflected in the manufacturers latest media campaign.

The main features of the X6 include a good sized 3.2 inch touch screen alongside a 5.0 mega pixel camera, add to this Nokia's most advanced music player, room for up to 5,500 songs on its internal memory and a 3.5mm jack for plugging in your own pair of funky (standard) headphones and you can see why this phone is being adored by a younger audience.

Many of the features including the very same touch screen are also found in the latest Nokia N97 mini which is aimed at the very same market, these two handsets are pocket friendly with one for the music buff and the other for the more organised communicator with the N97 Mini incorporating a full slide out Qwerty keyboard.

The X6 also offers social networking support for sites like Facebook and Youtube, this is important with so many youth now communicating with their friends via these sites rather than texting and calling each other. Video clips and pictures can be instantly uploaded with fast web access or WiFi to both sites for sharing with friends.

The latest white Nokia X6 16GB model has now been released on O2 pay monthly deals, there are further network releases planned on both Orange and Vodafone over the coming days and hopefully a Pay As You Go launch sometime soon.
