New employment tax manager joins PKF Smith Cooper as tax division fuels further growth plans

Katie Dziewulski is the latest tax specialist to join PKF Smith Cooper, as the Midlands-based accounting and advisory firm continues to grow the expert team behind its tax services through new career opportunities.

Katie steps into the role of Employment Tax Manager, after occupying the same position at a leading fitness apparel company for two years. After graduating from the University of Birmingham with a BSc in Sports and Exercise Science, Katie started her tax career at a UK top-10 accounting company where she worked for four years and earned two promotions.

In her new role, Katie will support the Head of Employment Tax in leading the employment tax team at PKF Smith Cooper and help business owners across the Midlands with tax compliance.

As the home of PKF International in the Midlands, PKF Smith Cooper provides a range of accounting and advisory services to small and large businesses in the region from its offices in Derby, Nottingham, Birmingham and Ashbourne.

The tax division at PKF Smith Cooper has gained 15 new recruits over the past 12 months alone. The team was also bolstered by a series of internal promotions during 2022, including 4 to tax partner and 4 to manager. With expansion ongoing, the firm continues to recruit with a number of vacancies in the tax division including corporate tax manager positions in Nottingham and Birmingham.
