Milford Marina: Milford Marina Joins Passeport Escales Euro Berthing System
For the second season, Milford Marina remains the only marina in Wales to be a member of the reciprocal berthing programme, Passeport Escales. The unique scheme, run by Primocean is the largest European marina passport programme, enabling berth holders to enjoy up to 5 free nights at over 100 marinas across the south coast of England, France, Spain and Portugal.
For Milford Marina, being part of Europe's largest passport network not only provides its berth holders with 5 free nights when cruising in Europe, it is also appealing to foreign yachts wishing to cruise in and around Pembrokeshire.
To provide further value for annual berth holders, Milford Marina has also introduced the complimentary Milford Marina Gold Card. The card provides holders with exclusive discounts from a variety of businesses based in and around the marina until the end of their annual berthing contract. When the contract is renewed, the marina will automatically renew the Gold Card. Each card will be entirely personalised and will display the holder’s name.
Lucy James, Marketing Manager of Milford Marina, said, “Our Gold Card is a brand new way of rewarding annual berth holders and gives seasonal visitors an incentive to sign up for an annual contract. There are 16 businesses involved with offers including a range of boat services, chandlery and boat insurance, right through to restaurants, car hire and even dog grooming.”
Milford Marina celebrates its 25th anniversary in 2016. The Marina has grown in popularity through its 25 years due to its proximity to the waters of the Milford Haven Waterway. The Marina was established in 1991 within the original docks upon which the town of Milford Haven was founded.
