Ocean Signal Partners with Flak AS to Expand Distribution in Norway

Communication and safety at sea specialist Ocean Signal Ltd has announced the appointment of leading marine equipment wholesaler Flak AS to strengthen its business within the Norwegian market.

Under the terms of the new agreement, Flak will distribute Ocean Signal’s comprehensive range of best-in-class survival products, including Emergency Position-Indicating Radio Beacons (EPIRB), Personal Locator Beacons (PLB), Man Overboard (MOB) devices, Search and Rescue Transponders (SART), VHF radios, electronic distress flares and more.

The strategic collaboration will enhance the availability of the Ocean Signal devices for a variety of leisure boaters and watersports enthusiasts, commercial mariners and fishing sectors in Norway, ensuring more customers have access to critical lifesaving technology.

Ocean Signal continues to extend its unrivalled portfolio of advanced safety devices and set new industry standards in technology innovation, and product quality and design, with recent launches including the rescueME EDF2 eVDSD (Electronic Visual Distress Signalling Device), the Class-M approved SafeSEA M200 man overboard locator device and the rescueME MOB2.
