North East SME joins the G-Cloud Government framework

After opening an office in the North East just four months ago, SME Software Company SGP Consulting is winning new business and employing more staff for its Newcastle Upon Tyne office.

SGP Consulting (UK) Ltd has been successfully trading for 5 years and sustained a high growth strategy since launching from an office in Swindon. SGP are an IT consultancy and software development company with clients ranging from SME to PLC. Recognised by the Department for Business, Innovation and Skills (BIS) as a high growth company with potential, SGP has received multiple rounds of growth funding from UK Government to support sustained growth and expansion.

G-Cloud is an online marketplace for IT suppliers to offer their services to the public sector for commodity based cloud services.

G-Cloud sales up to the end of March total £175,479,562.12, 60% of total sales by value and 59% by volume, from all reported G-Cloud sales to date, have been awarded to SMEs
80% of total sales by value were through Central Government; 20% through the Wider Public Sector.
