It will be even easier to travel to Åre this winter, as direct connections have now been established from the three biggest cities in Sweden to Åre/Östersund airport. The international airport in Værnes, Trondheim, Norway, is already served by flights from a number of European cities, and there are direct transfer services from the airport to Åre.
