V Festival 2011 Shedule Announced

V Festival is an annual music festival held in England during the penultimate weekend in August. Organized by Metropolis Music and SJM Concerts, V Festival is held at Hylands Park in Chelmsford and Weston Park in South Staffordshire simultaneously. V Festival sites share the same line-up, artists perform at one location on Saturday and then swap on Sunday. The ‘V’ represents the Virgin Group, with V Festival being sponsored by Virgin Media.

V Festival 2010 was held on 21-22 August 2010 and was headlined by Kasabian and Kings of Leon. Performers at the 15th anniversary V festival included Florence And The Machine, Stereophonics, Faithless, The Prodigy, The Kooks, Paul Weller, Cheryl Cole, Paolo Nutini, La Roux, Ellie Goulding, Pet Shop Boys, Madness, Editors, Mika, Groove Armada, The Charlatans, Goldfrapp, Amy Macdonald, Kate Nash, Paloma Faith, Plan B, Sugababes and Pixie Lott.

V Festival will run in the penultimate weekend of August on Saturday and Sunday, 20-21 August 2011. Line-up for V Festival 2011 will be announced at a later time. V Festival 2010 is just finished and V Festival 2011 will have yet another spectacular line-up. Early bird tickets for V Fest 2011 are already on sale.
