Join Laura Wright on the Women’s Tour this summer for SportsAid
SportsAid is looking for eight people to join award-winning soprano Laura Wright as she cycles the first stage of the Friends Life Women’s Tour on June 17 ahead of the world’s top cyclists to raise money for the charity.
The stage covers a 68-mile route from Bury St Edmunds to Aldeburgh on the coast of Suffolk and after you, Laura and the rest of the SportsAid team have completed it, you will get to watch the professional riders race for the finish from the VIP area.
You don’t need to be a professional cyclist yourself to take part. You just need to be in good health, able to average 15 miles an hour on a bike in rolling countryside, comfortable cycling 68 miles, and happy to fundraise for SportsAid with Laura to support the Laura Wright SportsAid Awards.

It will be Laura's first fundraising challenge for SportsAid since becoming an ambassador for the charity in March. Just three days later, on June 20, she will be back in action again as she takes to the water for the Great East Swim with another team of ten SportsAid fundraisers.
