A briefing for anyone wanting to cover International Stammering Awareness Day, 22nd October. STAMMA are handing in a petition of 25,000 signatures to the BBC and ITV that day calling for representation in the media.
The BBC will launch its Internal Stammering Support Network tomorrow. This follows hard on the footsteps of ‘I Can’t Say My Name’, an acclaimed documentary which aired on March 10th this year, after which its presenter, Felicity Baker, was inundated by messages of support from the public as well as from staff at the Corporation.
