Cure The Winter Blues

Winter has arrived at Stoke Park as we are getting accustomed to the morning frosts and early nights. Dealing with the cold temperatures and short days can be a challenge, and so to help cure the winter blues, we’ve come up with our top 5 five things to do at Stoke Park this winter.

  1. Stay cosy... Bathe in a warm bath or shower, before snuggling up in one of our comfy beds with its large duvet and plenty of pillows. You’ll never want to get out of bed in the morning...
  2. Winter Spa days... It might not be the weather for enjoying the sun in the spa garden but that shouldn’t stop you from making the most of a day in the Spa. The Scandinavian sauna is there to keep you warm, as is the steaming outdoor hot tub which is very inviting when the air outside is crisp and cold. Don’t forget we also have our Winter Radiance Spa Retreat available from 3rd January until 31st March 2017.
  3. Spend a day on the Golf course... When the hours of daylight are at their minimum, it’s essential to make the most of the light. What better way to do that than with a round of golf on our 27 hole Championship Golf Course?
  4. Keep warm in the Chapel... There is nothing better than sitting by the fire with a cup of tea and a good book to read. The Chapel provides the perfect place to retreat to...
  5. Sunday Lunch is a must... Everyone loves a roast on a Sunday and we know that! Humphry’s is open every Sunday from 12-2:30pm, for you to enjoy a scrumptious lunch by our award-winning Executive Chef, Chris Wheeler.
