Festive Fun at Stoke Park

Now it’s December and advent has started; we are counting down the days until Christmas Day. The Christmas trees are decorated, a wreath is hanging the mansion door entrance and each fireplace is dressed with gorgeous garland. To make the most of this festive time, we have plenty of celebrations going on at Stoke Park – with various events to cater for all ages to enjoy!

On Sunday 4th we look forward to welcoming lots of little ones to our Children’s Christmas Party. Not only will there be entertainment and party food to get them excited, but Father Christmas has also promised to come and visit the children! Assuming all the kids have been good this year, they will leave with an early Christmas present!

For the more sophisticated, we have our Royal Yuletide Gala. This year’s theme is Kings and Queens, with the Palladian Mansion being transformed into a Royal Palace for the night. You’ll be greeted with a welcome drink on arrival, before sitting down to enjoy Chris Wheeler’s majestic menu washed down with wine. After dinner, the party will really get going... There will be a disco for those who like to dance the night away and casino entertainment for you to try your luck at. If you want more information about our Christmas Party Nights, take a look at our Christmas Brochure available on our website. We can’t wait to party regal style and looks forward to seeing you there. Missed out on the date this year? Why not sign up to the Christmas list to be the first to hear about 2017’s dates.

Christmas is a time for getting together with friends and family, and what better opportunity to do this than at our Family Christmas Carol Concert on Wednesday 14th. We hope to see you at St Giles Church and join us as we sing our favourite festive carols. After the service, we’ll be heading back to Stoke Park for some refreshments. After all, it wouldn’t be Christmas without copious amounts of Mince Pies and a few too many glasses of Mulled Wine!

Also in the Stoke Park social calendar we have many more festive events to look forward to. On Sunday 4th, 11th and 18th of December we will be hosting Christmas Sunday Lunches, where Chris Wheeler will be treating you an exquisite three course meal to tantalise your taste buds. Additionally, on Wednesday 7th, we will be hosting our next Ladies Lunch. We look forward to seeing our members again - no doubt there will be plenty of talk about Christmas plans around the lunch table!

For all the events, to make an enquiry or reservation, please contact Jenifer Jefferies on 01753 717112 or email jjefferies@stokepark.com. And on a final note... we hope you enjoy the festive season and have a wonderful Christmas this year.
