Entertaining the Kids is Easy!

How is it October half term already? Where does the time go? It feels as though summer was only yesterday, especially with the glorious autumnal sunshine we’ve been lucky to have so far this season. With the kids on holiday again, it’s time to start thinking of ways to them occupied...

Holidays are a great time to get involved with sport! Our Golf and Tennis Camps are back and we’re looking forward to another week welcoming plenty of juniors to have a hit about on the court and a swing on the golf course. We’ll keep them running around all day so that they’ll sleep well at night time!

Just before the clocks go back and the weather gets too cold or wet, make the most of the daylight hours! Whether it’s a slide, swing or climbing frame, there’s plenty to keep the kids entertained in our outside adventure playground. Just remember to put on an extra layer or two, it’s getting colder everyday!

Having time to spend with the kids is a special occasion and worth celebrating! Afternoon tea will go down a treat with all the family! Executive Chef, Chris Wheeler produces a delicious selection of delicately hand-made sandwiches, cakes and scones to enjoy. A special Little Stars Afternoon Tea is also available for young tots under the age of 12. Whilst the children are happy with teddy bear biscuits and milkshakes, adults can take the time to admire the stunning view of the Championship Golf Course and Repton Bridge from The Orangery.

And of course, we wouldn’t forget Halloween is coming up on the 31st October! Will you be out trick or treating this year? Pumpkin carving is also a great activity to do with the kids, and why not try some cooking with the leftovers. And as if this wasn’t enough we’ve also got the Halloween Party to come. We can’t wait to see all the children in their spooky costumes and look forward to an afternoon full of entertainment!
