The Unveiling Of The Front Nine

Today we unveil the bunkers and reopen the course on Holes 1 – 9 which have undergone a bunker refurbishment throughout winter.

We are looking forward to welcoming our Members and Guests to the course to try out the new Bunkers as well as seeing what improvements have been made. The next two winters will see Holes 10 – 27 receive the same bunker upgrades which are set to change and develop the legendary course that we have here at Stoke Park.

The renovation on Holes 1 – 9 included them all being rebuilt with some minor design changes being made to their shape and size! The previous positioning of the bunkers will remain how they were, just a few minor tweaks which will make the course even more renowned and enhance the course as a whole.

Our course is well known as it hosted the PGA Matchplay in 1910 and also one of the most iconic golf matches in history between James Bond and Goldfinger, in the 1964 film,Goldfinger. The 7th Hole at Stoke Park also inspired the 16th at Augusta.

With our iconic course and amazing golf facilities, you can’t resist playing here at Stoke Park, the new bunkers have reopened (as of Friday 22nd April) and we look forward to welcoming you all to the club soon to play on the new, improved Holes 1 – 9.

If you have heard about these amazing upgrades that we are doing to our course and you are interested in becoming a Member then please contact membership@stokepark.com for more information!
