A Heywood stroke survivor and his wife have donated 37 Christmas hampers created by themselves, friends and family, to help rebuild lives after stroke this festive season.
According to a new survey by the Stroke Association, the favourite activities at Christmas time include decorating the tree (45%), cooking Christmas dinner (41%) and playing with the kids/grandkids (33%).
