WINDSOR – September 3, 2026 – Konami Digital Entertainment Inc. (KONAMI) today reveals PROJECT ZIRCON, a strategic deck-building roguelike game where every decision can reshape the story of a nation. Players must build and adapt their deck on the fly, responding to changing circumstances, unexpected events and the consequences of their own choices. With different cards, strategies and story developments emerging in each playthrough, no two journeys through PROJECT ZIRCON will unfold the same way.

Set in a world gripped by fear following the return of the legendary Calamity Dragon of the Abyss, players step into the role of a ruler tasked with leading a nation through an escalating global crisis. By playing cards and navigating alternating Strategy and Administration phases, players will strengthen their nation, respond to emerging threats and determine how their story develops.

Choices made throughout each run can dramatically alter the course of events, opening new paths and leading to multiple possible endings. Players will need to weigh immediate survival against the long-term future of their nation as they forge their own path toward confronting the Catastrophic Dragon.
