SKÖVDE, Sweden - 21st August 2025 - Today, Coffee Stain Studios has announced the release date for the highly-anticipated console version of the award-winning factory-building simulator Satisfactory. The hugely popular and beloved game rose to fame on PC, becoming the ultimate Early Access success story, and now, in collaboration with Fishlabs, the console release is one conveyor belt closer in its production journey. With all the pieces now being assembled, Satisfactory will be available on consoles from the 4th November 2025, playable on PlayStation 4®, PlayStation 5®, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X|S.

Satisfactory on console will include everything PC players can experience with the latest 1.1 Update, which was released in June this year. This update introduced exciting new features such as an overhauled Photo Mode making it easier than ever to create Pioneer-perfect scenes for capture, new additions to Hypertubes to streamline travel, and official support for Xbox and DualSense™ controllers. The latter of these features has been a significant step in readying Satisfactory for its console launch, with player feedback used to fine-tune the controller experience over the past few months.

With this release, console players on both Xbox and PlayStation can look forward to getting the most out of their preferred system, with a number of additions in the pipeline tailored to the unique features of each console. Pioneers on Xbox will enjoy support for game suspend and Xbox Presence, while PlayStation 5 gamers can expect integrated controller speaker support and haptics.

Both systems will also feature cloud saving, allowing players to take their factories with them wherever they may be, and also come with three performance presets targeting various framerates, including Quality at 30 FPS, Balanced at 40 FPS, and Performance at 60 FPS. No matter the console, Pioneers across the world can rest assured that they can play with their fellow FICSIT employees, with crossplay supported between Xbox and PlayStation consoles available at launch.

Like the PC Pioneers before them, console constructors will soon uncover the mysteries of the alien planet of MASSAGE-2 (A-B)b, as they take the role of Pioneers at FICSIT Inc. tasked with advancing Project Assembly. By exploiting natural resources and alien artifacts, Pioneers must produce and transport increasingly complex parts off-planet via the Space Elevator to complete the great undertaking of the Save The Day program — the finer details of which are shrouded in mystery. Nonetheless, humanity is counting on these dedicated Pioneers!

Satisfactory will be available to play on consoles from the 4th November 2025. Satisfactory Update 1.1 is now available to play on PC through Steam and Epic Games Store. All assets can be found here.
