With the Shifting Gears update, players touch down on a freshly discovered world, leaving behind their previous homesteads to embrace new challenges, environments, and opportunities. The farming system has been overhauled for scale and depth, with larger fields, crop mutations, and a more intuitive fertilizer system - powered by animals - creating a more immersive and rewarding agricultural loop.

For Steam players, the Legacy version of the game will also remain available as a public opt-in "legacy" branch - perfect for those who wish to revisit their old homestead just as they left it prior to the update.
