MIDNIGHT GHOST HUNT CREEPS INTO 1.0 TODAY!

After a hauntingly fun two years in Early Access, Coffee Stain and Vaulted Sky’s spectral prop haunt game launches into 1.0 on Steam and the Epic Games Store

SKÖVDE, Sweden - March 21st, 2024 - Coffee Stain Publishing, the company behind Valheim, Deep Rock Galactic and Satisfactory, and Vaulted Sky Games are excited to announce that the spirit-chasing prop hunt game, Midnight Ghost Hunt, launches into 1.0 today. After two years in Early Access, players will now be able to experience this ghostly frenzy in-full, and new thrill-seekers can join the hunt for free during the game's free weekend on Steam right now!

Midnight Ghost Hunt is a multiplayer 4v4 prop hunt game with a haunting twist. Hunters seek out and destroy Ghosts before the clock strikes midnight, when the tables are turned and the hunters become the hunted! Midnight Ghost Hunt’s Early Access journey began on Steam in March 2022, before arriving on the Epic Games store in June 2023, and has continually progressed with consistent updates throughout the past two years.

Since the game's successful launch in Early Access, a plethora of improvements and new features have been added. These include new hero-props, maps, skins, weapon and gadget improvements along with in-game challenges, a progression tier system, dedicated servers and the addition of an experimental game mode - all coming together to make the ghoul-busting action even more exciting to join in on.

• 4v4 MULTIPLAYER MAYHEM - Outwit your enemies with teamwork! Play with your friends and communicate to your team to help each other outsmart and pursue your opponents together.
• 10 GHOSTLY MAPS - Travel over a range of 10 mysterious settings, from a haunted school to a factory of murderous dolls. Use each map’s unique features and items to cause havoc to your opponents and claim your victory.
• OTHERWORLDLY WEAPONS AND ABILITIES - Hunters have access to an array of weapons and advanced gadgets to help banish Ghosts, including a flamethrower, harpoon bazooka and the trusty radar. Ghosts can use their supernatural powers to haunt items, evoke ghostly miasma, turn invisible and even imitate hunters to conjure their win.
• CUSTOMISATION - Choose from a variety of skins to partake in the ghostly pursuit in, blend into your environments with skin options like the grim reaper, a pirate or even a jester.

Players can look forward to new developments arriving in 1.0, including big changes to the game's maps; from small visual improvements to complete overhauls that enhance prop hunt gameplay, as well as advancements in weapons and gadgets, and updates to lighting and VFX clarification.
