More than 530,000 Players Jumped into ‘Jump Ship’ During Steam Next Fest

Jump Ship’ Steam Next Fest Demo Soars, with hundreds of thousands of missions being completed in just a few days.

Stockholm, 23rd June 2025 — Keepsake Games, a Swedish game developer founded by industry veterans from Hazelight, Mojang and Coffee Stain, are proud to celebrate the success of Jump Ship’s Next Fest Demo that saw over half a million players take to the skies.

Players dived head first into the chaotic, cooperative spacefaring action, embarking on over 825,000 missions as they took on the perils of the galaxy and worked with their crews to survive. Originally planned to run from June 9th - 16th, the overwhelmingly positive response from players around the globe has seen the demo now be extended until June 23rd.

In the past two weeks, Jump Ship saw:

  • More than 530,000 players jumped into Jump Ship
  • More than 1,000,000 missions were completed
  • More than 1,700,000 hyperjumps to next sectors
  • More than 107 years spent exploring deep space
  • More than 1,100,000 fires erupted on the ship deck

“We’ve been truly blown away by the positive response” says Daniel Kaplan, CEO of Keepsake Games. “The number of players who have dived into Jump Ship was more than we could have ever imagined, and hearing how much our community has enjoyed the chaotic fun means the world to us. The team can’t wait to keep building on this momentum and we’re already eager for the game to launch into early access!”

Jump Ship is a spacefaring, cooperative PvE where up to four players join forces to take on unpredictable and high-octane survival scenarios. Whether you’re commanding and flying the ship, engaging enemies in combat, or exploring the depths of the stunning galaxy via jetpack, every crew member is essential to make the next jump.

Following the hugely popular demo, Jump Ship will enter Early Access on PC and Xbox later this summer. Players can wishlist the game now on Steam and Xbox, join the official Discord to connect with the team, or visit the official website for more details. The official Jump Ship press kit can be found here.
