LONDON, UK – October 23rd, 2025 – Today, Kinetic Games is thrilled to announce that Phasmophobia: The Board Game is now available for pre-order! The board game invites hunters to get together in groups of 1-4 to squad up, equip their ghost-hunting gear and investigate the haunted homes from Kinetic Game’s genre-definer in a tense game of suspense and survival.

With design from Lost In Cult and artwork from illustrator Jamie Flack, Phasmophobia: The Board Game's meticulously-realised maps depict iconic properties from the video game with authenticity and careful attention to detail. In Phasmophobia: The Board Game Deluxe Edition, die-hard fans can enjoy exclusive ephemera alongside upgraded game pieces. Upgrades include a glow-in-the-dark clamshell presentation box; hardcover rulebook; frosted smoke blue Investigator & glow-in-the- dark Ghost dice sets; glow-in-the-dark Ghost cards & Ghost behaviour board; silver ink possession & hallucination cards; and metallic finish tarot cards.

Uncover its story through development material and interviews with key Kinetic Games staff.

A very special Signed Deluxe Edition is also available, and is strictly limited to 2500 copies. Phasmophobia: The Board Game Deluxe Edition and Signed Deluxe Edition are exclusively available through pre-order, ending 7 December 2025.

“Working with Lost in Cult to bring Phas to table top is an exciting project for us. The video game is at its core a social co-op puzzle game, in a terrifying setting, which makes it the perfect candidate for a board game.” Daniel Knight (Dknighter), Director of Kinetic Games and Lead Developer of Phasmophobia. “I think fans of the game, and even people who’ve never played Phasmophobia before, are going to have an amazing time playing it and getting scared with their friends.”

2025 has been an exciting year for Phasmophobia in new mediums as it gears up for its 1.0 launch, and the board game reveal comes hot on the heels of the announcement that a feature film adaptation of Phasmophobia is officially in development by horror film powerhouse, Blumhouse.

Phasmophobia: The Board Game is available now for pre-order at lostincult.co.uk/phasmophobia for £79.99 (Phasmophobia: The Board Game) and £119.99 (Phasmophobia: The Board Game Deluxe Edition, and Phasmophobia: The Board Game Signed Deluxe Edition).
