Satisfactory’s First DLC ‘Core Values’ Revealed at the Coffee Stain Big Break Showcase

SKÖVDE, Sweden – 29th September 2026 - Today, as part of the Big Break Showcase’s debut, Coffee Stain Studios revealed its very first DLC for its award-winning factory building title Satisfactory titled ‘Core Values’. This major expansion will see daring Pioneers dig deep into the crust of MASSAGE 2(A-B)b, expanding their mission to the underbelly of the planet’s surface with a brand new story to uncover. Whilst the official launch date for ‘Core Values’ is yet to be announced, fans on Steam, Epic Games Store, Xbox Series X|S, and PlayStation 5 can look forward to a day-and-date release of the underground experience on all platforms.

‘Core Values’ expands the remit of the FICSIT Pioneers below the surface. In this new environment, players can expect a myriad of cavernous biomes to explore, whilst discovering new flora, fauna, foes, and a friendly-feline. The DLC can be activated once Pioneers reach Tier 3 of HUB research, following construction of the Space Elevator, but can be completed at the player’s own pace, jumping between the main story and DLC story as they please.

As ‘Core Values’ remains in development, much of the content will be revealed closer to release, but eager explorers can check out a list of what to expect below:

• Into the belly: drill down through the crust, mantle, and core of MASSAGE 2(A-B)b to expand FICSIT’s reach and continue the mission as you exploit, explore, and expand your factory network deep underground. Discover new resources, fauna, creatures, and more, as you develop a separate factory network surrounded by stone.

• More alien mysteries: whilst your mission of upholding FICSIT’s core values remains as strong as ever, nobody can blame a curious Pioneer for being captured by the alien anomalies discovered in the dark caves. Progress through a new story as you unlock new buildings, research, and production lines, uncovering more about the world you now inhabit the deeper you go.

• A unique approach to production: make use of new factory buildings, equipment, and products that require special tools to extract the unique resources from the rocky terrain. Discover new ways to mine, transport, and combine your production lines and experience Satisfactory like never before.

• Friends, foes, and felines: the underground world of MASSAGE-2(A-B)b has new hostile and passive creatures native to the depths of the planet for players to meet, greet, and befriend… not on their own terms of course.

• Dive down and climb out: once Pioneers have unlocked the subterranean world, they can easily traverse between the overground and the underground with ease.

• Breaking down barriers: as players venture down into the darkest caves, new challenges await them, not least including the natural formation of the underground putting restrictions on factory building where the overground does not. Not to fear, as FICSIT’s R&D team have been hard at work developing new ways to overcome these pesky habitats.

As development of the ‘Core Values’ DLC continues, the base game will continue to receive regular updates improving the experience for players on all platforms. More information on this major expansion is set to follow, and fans can wishlist the ‘Core Values’ today on Steam and Epic Games Store, with console wishlisting to release in the near future.
