Synergy SKY 4.0 is released

Synergy SKY is happy to release the version 4.0 of their Service Provider platform containing a lot of new functionality.

Two of the main features in the this release are Scheduling and Sky Rooms.

The new Scheduling solution integrates with Microsoft Exchange (both on-premises and Office 365), and give the end users a single interface to schedule users and rooms into video meetings. The solution offers a web portal which can be accessed from any device, so that users are not forced to use Outlook to schedule all their meetings. The web portal presents real-time free-busy information about invitees and rooms in the same view, and even allow for searching through the corporate directory.

SKY Rooms is a unique concept when a user can have a Virtual Meeting Room (VMR) that is not limited to a single MCU. This allows a meeting to go through even if an MCU is out of capacity or out of order. It also negates limitations to old MCUs that only allowed for x number of VMRs to be configured at a time.

"Version 4.0 has been under development for almost two years, and we are thrilled to finally having released it" says Ståle Reitan, CEO for Synergy SKY.
