​Make way for the Qlik Sense Enterprise February 2019 release

The first release of the year is packed with new value-add features requested by partners, customers and the market.

Following the success of the recently released Dashboard Bundle, Qlik are now launching a new Visualization Bundle, which includes seven of the most popular visualization extensions from their open source community! Fully tested and supported by Qlik, these additional chart types dramatically improve how our customers can visualize data and help reinforce the path to Qlik Sense for QlikView customers.

Beyond visualizations, Qlik have made usability enhancements to the Qlik Sense UI to provide a more fluid and natural user experience, across data, analytics and storytelling. They have also added to their advanced authoring efforts with a new addition to the Dashboard bundle that allows sharing via a direct link. 

Qlik are continuing their efforts to empower the mobile workforce, with new capabilities including a Qlik Sense Mobile app for Android, mashup support in Qlik Sense Mobile, and expanded Enterprise Mobility Management (EMM) support for Microsoft InTune – one of the fastest growing EMM platforms in the market. Moreover, they are leading the pack in mobile threat detection security with Zimperium Integration.This release sets the foundation to drive their market leading mobile strategy and future roadmap.

Value-Add Product Announcements

Qlik Associative Big Data Engine: This add-on product unlocks the value of large data sets by delivering the Qlik Associative Engine to the biggest data repositories; allowing customers to freely explore and analyse without limits, while leaving the data where it resides. 

Qlik NPrinting: This release will deliver highly requested features and quality improvements for Qlik NPrinting, making it more capable of supporting customer requirements and closing additional feature gaps with the prior generation. Qlik have added image management capabilities in report templates, allowing report authors to control the size and scale of charts from Qlik Sense without being affected by responsive design. They have also added support for variables in the subject line and body of an email allowing the ability to embed dynamic content, and have made improvements around report administration controls. Lastly, they have added the ability to run NPrinting in a FIPS environment.
