The Creation Station is short listed for The Best National Baby & Toddler Development Activity (newborn to 2 years) as voted for by parents
The UK’s leading children’s creative activity franchise, The Creation Station has been short listed for “The Best National Baby & Toddler Development Activity Award”. The award is open to any class or activity for babies and/or toddlers that runs across most of the UK. The award,ran by ‘What’s on 4’ and Sponsored by Konfidence is presented to the class most voted for by parents.
Sarah Cressall, Founder and Managing Director said “I am delighted that our Baby Discover and Little Explorer classes have reached the finals of the best national baby and toddler development activity, as voted by parents. We are passionate about providing unique classes that gives parents and their children a shared, creative and educational experience. Our programme of classes are in lone wit the Early Years Foundation Stage and develop friendships, confidence and problem solving skills in young children as well as providing ideas and activities for parents to help them develop their baby and toddler at home.

The classes include baby classes that provide hands on activities for babies and parents or carers to enjoy discovering their world together. The Creation Station also provide toddler classes called Little Explorers, for children aged 1 to 5 years and their parent or carers to create and make new friends and to explore, discover, develop, share and have fun together.

Giving expression to your own imagination in a group setting provides lots of benefits. It helps young children learn to make choices, share, listen, observe, pretend, problem solve, as well as play and interact with others.
The Creation Station isn’t simply about learning how to paint, model or collage along the lines of “Here’s one we did earlier”. It’s all about having a go, being inspired by something quite simple and encouraging each person to develop their own ideas. It’s amazing seeing that happen and it also gives you a huge boost of confidence when your ideas are taken seriously - no matter how old you are!
