Cycling Plus Magazine Gives Thule Raceway 5/5 Star Review
Cycling Plus, one of the U.K.’s biggest cycling publications, has tested out the Thule Raceway and absolutely loves it! In its 5 star review it says that the Thule Raceway “has a superb design, is very well made and takes away fitting hassles”.
Cycling Plus reviewed the Thule RaceWay 992, the 3 bike version of our strongest, most secure and easiest to use rear-door bike carrier to date.
They were most impressed with the Thule Raceway’s excellent Sure-Tight™ ratcheting cables, which make it quick and easy to place your bike frames onto the carrier.
Cycling Plus was also very happy with Thule’s patented FitDial technology. This is designed to make attaining the perfect fit to your vehicle a breeze by utilizing an easy-to-use lever which changes FitDial number to the appropriate setting for your vehicle. Cycling Plus writes: “once you’ve got it fitted and tensioned correctly it’s resolutely solid.”
The Thule RaceWay’s narrow design doesn’t go unnoticed either. Cycling Plus likes the slightly more narrow distance between the cradle arms, which makes storing the bike carrier simple.
Cycling Plus is also in favour of Thule’s way of addressing the issue of security by adding a cable lock to the carrier and a second cable lock for the outermost bike cradle which effectively secures all the bikes on the rack.
