“LET’S TAKE IT TO THE MAT” - CARDIFF MARTIAL ARTS TOURNAMENT CHALLENGES WELSH BUSINESSES

On Sunday, 16th September 2019, the city of Cardiff will host the UK Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu Association (UKBJJA) International Open at the National Indoor Athletics Centre, Cyncoed, Cardiff. In keeping with the UKBJJA’s desire to work with the local community and businesses, priority for sponsorship opportunities is being offered to companies either from or based in Wales, on a first-come-first-served basis.

So far, the strong international and national field of 600 competitors aged from 6 to 60 already includes; 24-year-old Welsh prodigy and World and European Champion, Ffion Davies along with others from Cardiff and the surrounding areas.

Frankie Lambert who manages sponsorships at the UKBJJA commented: “This is a great opportunity for businesses to support a local event with many local athletes on an international platform. Fans of Jiu-Jitsu and the curious will be more likely to notice and support a local business they see investing in a local event.” He continues, “Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu is a competitive but family-friendly martial art, practised by men and women, girls and boys of all ages.”

Sponsorships start from £1000 and up and will enable your company to co-promote the event as a partner alongside the UKBJJA, with access to tickets, mat-side advertising and more while gaining an association with a healthy and sporty lifestyle event. For one company at the top level, it will really make an impact - The Cardiff Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu International Open sponsored by ‘Company Name.’ For business owners or marketing teams considering sponsorship contact Francis Lambert [Francis.Lambert@ukbjja.org] for a no-obligation chat.
