The following statistics were released today by the Department of Health:

Dental Commissioning for the quarter ending March 2011.

This data shows the number of Units of Dental Activity (UDAs) commissioned as at 31st March 2011.

Key findings this quarter:

  • All 151 Commissioners (PCTs and Care Trusts) returned data.
  • 89.1 million UDAs have been commissioned as at 31st March 2011.
  • This represents a decrease of 0.4 million (0.5%) on the UDAs commissioned as at 31st December 2010.
