Ministry of Justice - Judicial Appointments: Appointment of a District Judge - Taylor

HM The Queen has appointed Penelope Jane Taylor to be a District Judge on the advice of the Lord Chancellor, the Right Honourable Jack Straw MP. The Right Honourable The Lord Judge, Lord Chief Justice of England and Wales has assigned her to the Western Circuit, based at Torquay County Court with effect from Tuesday 4 May 2010.

Notes to Editors

Penelope Jane Taylor is aged 41. She was admitted as a Solicitor in 1993 and was appointed as a Deputy District Judge in 2005.
