Student Loans Company (London): London Students: join SLC's student finance surgeries

The Student Loans Company to run regional surgeries on Twitter and Facebook ahead of application deadline dates

The Student Loans Company is running a series of student finance surgeries to give real-time advice to those going to university this autumn.

Advisors will be on hand to answer questions from London students on Monday 23 and Wednesday 25 May.

To ensure students have their funding in place at the start of term, new students should apply for finance by 31 May and returning students should submit their applications by 30 June.

Student Finance England's Processing Manager Andy Topham said:

"We want to encourage London students to join our student finance surgeries on their designated days and our experienced customer advisors will help with any questions they have relating to their application or evidence, ahead of the application deadline dates.

"Our contact centres are open every day but many students prefer to use social media channels to ask questions and get real-time answers.

"To take part in London's student finance surgery follow Student Finance England on Facebook and Twitter facebook.com/SFEngland and twitter.com/sf_england, post your questions between 1-3pm on 23/25 May and our customer advisors will respond to you."

Note: Our customer advisors will help where possible but social networking forums are public and students should not disclose personal or financial details on these sites.
