Labour Party: Government's mishandling of the defence budget gets worse and worse - Murphy

Jim Murphy MP, Labour’s Shadow Defence Secretary, commenting on reports of new Ministry of Defence saving requirements, said:

“The Conservative-led Government’s mishandling of the defence budget gets worse and worse with every passing week.  Armed Forces and their families will be stunned and deeply concerned by these serious revelations.

“The Tory-led Government must come clean immediately about any plans to make deeper and faster cuts than those announced in the Defence Review.”
